New Temple has a vision for reaching our community for the glory of Jesus Christ and we are excited about the fact that God has placed us in an area that is poised to grow for many years to come. There are many drivers of our area's growth but the quality of the local schools is a big factor. When we found out that Corner High School was going to receive a new school at a new location we knew that the quality would increase. When it was revealed that the new school was going to be built in our church field, we knew that God was giving us an opportunity to have an even greater eternal impact on our community.

A member of the Jefferson County Board of Education came to the church in 2007 and presented these two proposals for how the land will be developed.

| In 2007, our church voted to purchase approximately 19 acres of land on Manning Road. We are praying that God will allow us to have the land fully paid for by mid-2011. |
